Pets policy

Popilia Country Resort is a pet friendly hotel. We understand your cat or dog is just as much a part of the family as other members and we are delighted to accept them. For the safety and comfort of all our guests, you are kindly requested to follow some simple rules during your stay with your pet.

It is allowed to have maximum a pet per cottage, for any exception or other request please contact the front desk at or call at the +39 (0) 963 264252.

  • Pets are permitted in the resort at a price of € 20.00 per day, per pet and in cottage room (not permitted in the hotel rooms and villa cottages) because of the daily cleaning to ensure that future guests with allergies have no problems after your departure.
  • Unfortunately due to health regulations pets are not allowed in the Food & Beverage and public areas of the hotel (example the lobby, the pool areas, SPA and cardio – fitness center).
  • We accept dogs under 25 kg, subject to advance reservations: we accept breed like Dachshund, Poodle, Chihuahua, Fox Terrier, Pinscher Nano, Pekingese, Beagle, Border Collie, Bulldog, Cocker, Hounds, Setters.) Breed deemed dangerous or reported as such by the relevant authorities may only be accepted by management’s discretion.
  • Pets must have their vaccination documents to be given by email or fax upon reservation.
  • Please note that the property does not provide meals, games, beds or other facilities for dogs or other animals.
  • We ask that you accompany your pet at all times while staying in the hotel. Pick up after your pet and dispose of waste in a garbage can. Make sure the pet does not disturb the other guests of the resort.
    Management reserves the right to refuse service to any guest who does not comply with the above policy.
  • At time of check-in, the owner of the animal must sign a Pet policy, accepting responsibility for any damage caused by the animal, and subsequent cleaning/repair costs.
    Upon check out a room inspection by a member of our staff will be arranged together with the guest in order to double check the status of the room.
