The Antica Crissa restaurant welcomes guests in a genuine atmosphere, finely furnished and characterized by typical stone-walls, tuff blocks, and wood ceilings.
The restaurant is located within an old farmhouse and was named after the Greek prince Crissus, who was so impressed by the fertility and evocative scenery of these hills, that he decided to found a city.
The restaurant, which is warmed by a huge fireplace during the winter and is quite cool at summer, offers delicious and innovative versions of excellent regional dishes. Home-made patisserie and genuine combinations of fresh fruits, originating from the Popilia orchards, complement the enogastronomic proposal.
When summer comes, the court surrounded by blossoming gardens, turns into an evocative outdoor restaurant.

The tasting menu offers a restyled version of traditional dishes of Calabria, prepared with selected and only in-season raw ingredients, where tuna is a must, as a way to tell a long story about sea and passion for quality of the Callipo Family.

We offer a wide range of choices, including an excellent selection of home made fresh pastries, prepared with natural ingredients, fresh and in-season fruits, and the delicious and sophisticated “Callipo Dalla Nostra terra” jams: figs, pomegranate and strawberry, orange, clementine, and lemon and ginger. During summer, the main protagonist is fresh fruit from the Popilia orchards: figs, plums, and cherries from our trees.
The Breakfast is enriched by traditional cured meat and cheese of Calabria, for a perfect sweet and salty combination.
